A Note From the Liturgy Committee
We at St. Mary's Church, in order that our celebration of the Sacred Liturgy be in accordance with the General Instructions of the Roman Missal, will make a profound bow during the recitation of the Creed, at the words, "by the power of the Holy Spirit." Thank you for helping to make our Eucharistic celebration one of reverence and beauty.

Year of St. Paul
One last message. We come to the closing of the Year of St. Paul which Pope Benedict, XVI declared last June. Christianity owes a great debt of gratitude to this saint. The letters, or epistles, of St. Paul make up one-third of the New Testament, fourteen letters are attributed to him and his story takes up one half of the Book of Acts. Paul was a man of the Scriptures. He believed in the power of the Word. Let us take up his challenge and read, live, breathe, speak and walk God's Holy Word. He encouraged Timothy as he does us to persevere in his faith. We too can find our daily strength in Jesus Christ and in God's inspired word. We close out the year with some of Paul's final words to Timothy. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." (2 Timothy, verse 4)

Please Note
Hospital Visits: Because of a new privacy act, clergy must receive a call from the person (or their family) to request visitation. This serves the patient well in regard to their privacy. So, please call Fr. Piotr(539-5732) and let him know of your need.

Funeral Arrangements: Parishioners are requested to contact Fr. Piotr first when making funeral arrangements (time, etc.) rather than making these arrangements through the funeral home. This allows Fr.Piotr to be with the family during this difficult time of decision making and can also cut down on the frustration of waiting for arrangements to be verified through several parties.
